Specification for Structural Duplex Stainless Steel Bridge Plate Materials

This specification provides design provisions for I-girder bridge superstructures fabricated from duplex stainless steel. While focused on I-girder bridges, the provisions may be adapted for other bridge types by considering the distinct buckling behaviour and increased flexibility of duplex stainless-steel members.
