Breakthrough for Stainless Steel Service Lines in Italy as Utilities Tackle Water Leakage
In recent years, several Italian water utilities, supported by Team Stainless, have initiated programs to replace traditional service connections with Type 316 stainless steel alternatives to reduce water leakage. Installations carried out in Brescia, Ancona and Belluno are expected to reach around 700 by the end of the year, marking an important milestone in Italy’s adoption of this technology. Read more

Environmental Impact of LC FeCr Production
We are pleased to confirm the release of the summary of the first LCA for LC FeCr commissioned by the ICDA. Low carbon ferrochrome (LC FeCr), with a carbon content below 0.5%, is a ferroalloy used to regulate the ratio of chromium in steel production without adding carbon and other unwanted ingredients.
