ESG Technical Conference of the International Chromium Development Association

The event will also include a visit to Vargön Alloys AB – Corex Metals and Mining, where participants will be presented the FEMOST project. This ICDA-Sustainability-Award-winner project project focuses on developing a closed-loop production approach by integrating recycled industrial residues and renewable carbon sources into ferrochrome smelting. The project has demonstrated an estimated reduction of approximately 20% in fossil CO₂ emissions from ferrochrome smelting (Scope 1).
