2nd ESG Technical Summit in Brussels

As the field of ESG and regulatory compliance continues to expand, it is becoming increasingly important to stay informed about current and future legislation and industry developments.
The ICDA will be holding the second edition of its ESG Technical Conference in Brussels on 8-9 October 2024.
In this 2nd edition, we will be addressing high-level issues that concern not only ESG and sustainability experts, but also anyone with an interest in the subject. We therefore invite all of you to register.

What to expect?

  • Decarbonization and energy efficiency
    The session will include a global energy outlook, an update on the chromium
    industry decarbonization pathway, carbon capture potential, biocarbon and
    ferrochrome production.
  • Regulatory overview
    This session will provide an update on CBAM, EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting and Due Diligence as well as an overview of the EPD process.
  • Responsible practices
    Gain insight into responsible mining practices and find the resources to assess
    your production sites over time.
  • Social responsibility
    The Kitso Ya Boleng initiative, which was recognized with the ICDA Sustainability Award for 2024, exemplifies how Assore Group – Ore and Metal has successfully fostered employment and skills development among individuals with limited access to education and financial resources
