The latest issue of Nickel celebrates bridges in every sense of the word, from the iconic structures that quite literally span our skylines to the technological and societal transitions that nickel helps make possible.

This specification provides design provisions for I-girder bridge superstructures fabricated from duplex stainless steel. While focused on I-girder bridges, the provisions may be adapted for other bridge types by considering the distinct buckling behaviour and increased flexibility of duplex stainless-steel members.
