Stainless steel in renewable and carbon-free power generation

Mitigating climate change is one of the major challenges today. According to IEA’s global energy review 2021, the share of renewables in global electricity generation jumped to 29% in 2020, up from 27% in 2019. Stainless steel has a major role to play in renewable and carbon-free power generation such as biomass energy, blue energy, geothermal, offshore wind, solar and nuclear energies.
